Opera Internet Browser

Over two months ago I found after the latest WB release my Opera Internet browser window does not skin properly. The window control buttons, MIN, MAX, X or CLOSE, etc. do not skin.  I duly reported this to SD Support.

I have been informed there is a fix for my 2 month old problem but cannot obtain this fix until the next release of WB whose next release date is nebulous, I must, according to my last e-mail from you all, live with my problem or not skin my application at all. And now you want to close this ticket for my problem that is still not resolved. Unbelievable!

I am afraid Stardock will lose a good customer of 10+ years.

Any ideas or assistance would be appreciated. Thanks.

ldfleming...the problem is the coding fix and a limited number of folks who can do and test it...the catch up game isn't as simple as one might think. Would it be a really bad thing to wait a bit?

I seem to have the same problem here, except mine is with Chrome Browser. I cannot see the MIN,EXIT(X),MAX buttons on top of the browser, the entire top part of the browser (everything above the Tabs) is missing.  It seems to happen with all Windowsblinds skins. I like using the "K TEKsteel" by Tiggs skin. Running windows 7 pro, everything else skins ok, just the top of the Chrome Browser. Tried Windowsblinds 7 and 8, both have the same problem. The problem does NOT happen on my Maxthon browser, or Internet Explorer browser.  I guess I'll just have to wait too. If anybody comes up with a fix, That'd be great.

My problem with the Opera Internet browser was resolved with the last release of WindowBlinds 8.06. My disappointment was that there was a solution to my problem but was not offered a hotfix to correct my problem. I instead had to wait <2 months for a full WindowBlind release for my fix. Not a very good way to keep paying customers happy. But,, with this last WB release 8.06, all is well and I am happy. Hope your problem engn999 is resolved soon.

I have this problem too on Windows 8 64-bit, WindowBlinds 8.06.

Right now I'm using precision skin & it works fine on Opera 25.0.1614.68 (until I get a better skin). But it doesn't work on Firefox.

Then I tried eminence skin on Opera then it doesn't work, then Firefox gets skinned. Weird huh.

The problem is how FF is coded, and that carries through in all Mozilla's apps. Traditionally poorly skinnable.
