First, I think not all particles are showing up on my game?

 

Within my documents, there's a file called rebellion.user.setting.

 

This I think is the limit:

MaxParticleCount 7200

 

If I set it to this,

MaxParticleCount 72000

 

Should it solve that problem?

 

 

 

The other is the AI bonus. I think in the 1.82 patch notes, the AI at the higher difficulties bonus was lowered somehow? Is there any way to reverse that?

The particle has to spawn while you are zoomed in on the object or it won't be visible.  Perhaps that is part of your problem?

Sadly not, only the devs have access to the AI bonuses. Modders can add their own if you're really determined but they're not quite as nice the standard ones.

It is possible to hit the particle threshold. Raising the limit would help with that but it will put added stress on your computer.
