Menubar Theming not implemented properly in window blinds 7 for qt and gtk2 applications!

Hi,

Im new to wb and also new to this forum etc. Triying  now a trial 8  version  with an skinstudio7 free version ( its not pro or skin studio 8 ( if it is not a free  i`ll stop using it immediatly). I don't need more cause i also can read and edit the theme with an simple text editor. I do now test wb to see if its worth buying it.

Theming works well so far as you can see in screenshot:

But:

Try running scantailor ( qtk) and gimp (gtk2).

gimp loads the rebar bg as menubar bg.

Scantailor refuses loading the menubar .button images.

The placement of the menu is buggy ( might related  to skinstudio 7, in this point wb doesn seem to be the source for this fault.will edit it without it and tell you if it works if necessary).

Certain frameworks create their own menubars themselves.  When they do that they often make them toolbars which is why they would be skinned as one.

Hi,

yeah seems to be an issue related to microsoft windows itself. 

Other themes are having the same problems  too. Wb doens't seem to be at fault.

 

In gtk there may be possible to render the menubar directly trough gtks own pixmap engine at least for gimp. will test that soon.

 

Or disable skinning for this application and make a 1:1 copy in gtk theme format .

(Easy to do technically  but won`t do such a theme conversation. )
