ObjcetDock Plus refuses NOT to start

from WinCustomize Forums

I've decided to run Fences as an alternative to OD+.  However, even though I have unchecked "Load at Startup", it continues to do so.  The only solution was an uninstall.  After reinstalling (I don't want to permanently remove OD+) however, the problem returned.

 

Here are my setting and the msconfig screens:

 

 

 

I also used regedit to make sure it wasn't listed in HKEY_CURRENT_USER\software\microsoft\windows\currentversion\run or HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\software\microsoft\windows\currentversion\run.  Is there another location I can look?

See if it left a shortcut to Object Dock in your Start Menu / Startup folder.  I'm on the extinct XP but I imagine something similar exists on Win7. On XP it's:

C:\Documents and Settings\[User]\Start Menu\Programs\Startup

Another option, if you have CCleaner, and who doesn't, is to run it, go to Tools/Startup, find the entry for OD Plus and r-click on it and disable or delete it.
