Google’s Art Project – or, How Skynet became Selfienet

Google has a good project (Google Cultural Institute) which allows you to tour great museums and see wonderful works of art, such as here.

Yes, I chose “Meeting Street” for CarGuy1 and Daiwa.

Imho, this is a great thing. So how do they do it? With “Street View” technology, but, using a ‘Dalek-oid’ robot draped in a weird cloak.

Wait, it gets better.

The robot likes taking weird ‘selfies’ in front of mirrors! This pretty much dispels the ‘Evil Skynet’ image and replaces it with ‘Death of the human race by silly’ (if we don’t do that ourselves first).

Thank God it can’t make a ‘duck face’.

Yet.

The opposing mirrors set up for infinite regression would be something to take shots of.

Can it get even weirder?
