I have a WB skin that I love but on Win 8.1 the start menu (start8) is completely black. Can't see anything written there. Is there a way to make the lettering show?
It may be a problem dealing with what OS the WB was written for. What is the skin?
Oh, a very nice one, I even did a Theme Manager Suite for it.
Not running Win 8 so I can't help much. Maybe someone will come by and be able to help. 
Generally,old WB skins are not compatible with new OSes even though Windowblinds has been done its best to accommodate-thank WB Developer. The issue that you have encountered is common which the only way to resolve that was using Skinstudio to adjust the codes or contact the skinners who makes that skin.

Theatre of the Mind was not made for Win 8.1. It would have to be updated.

Yes, I certainly know it's not for 8.1. I think I've had it since I was running XP!
