In the modding files, up to 8 units can be built. I have managed to create a set where there are 9 units.
How many units can be supported in 1 tile?
- 6 is the max to build
- support for 8 units per tile
- I have created 9
16? 25? Or no upper limit?
At least 20 or so I believe.
Just try it ?
Edit - > If you take a look at this mod (from FE but should be the same in LH) BlackRainZ was experimenting with very large group sizes:

20 was the max squad size per square at least in FE and I think FE:LH, but as stated above it may be different following this upcoming patch.
