Can we geet bigger maps please?

We're currently limited to the small maps because of the way ships are rendered. Bigger maps should be out in a month or so, possibly with the next large update this month.

Are you the same guy from Steam I was arguing with over where you bought it? lol. Sorry for being an asshole earlier.

I hope they have at least medium size with the next alpha, I have put 36 hours in the game so far and want bigger scale battles.

We all want bigger maps but unitl they at least get the basic batching right on the graphics engine there isn't much point as it will just grind to a halt in the late game.

I suspect the game is not currenly optimized that well so a larger galaxy will likely cause significant performance issues. ALso given that the economic features are not in the game a larger empire is actually going to be harder to fund given the fact that you can't take advantage of that economically and in production.

Check the tentative schedule of what is being included when. In there is says

"June 2014: Alpha 3 - Starports and more!
We’re adding some big features and making huge changes to a few more with this alpha release. This includes larger maps, improved AI, starports, multiplayer fixes, an improved ship designer (based on your feedback from Alpha 2), resources, performance improvements and numerous UI updates."

Note please, that this is a tentative schedule.

.... I dont know what youre talking about the economy in the game is way overpowered atm and needs a massive nerf 

Large maps are in the next major alpha build.

eventually, we plan to have insane sized maps.

I don't mind sitting at 62 FPS solid. I'm not greedy.
