So I purchased Galactic Civilizations 2 Ultimate Edition on steam today for 5 dollars, it shows up as the ultimate edition.
When I start the game it shows me a serial and I copy it and when the game asks for it, it says invalid serial.
What do?
My dad and I both are in the same boat, GC2 Ultimate Edition off Steam today, neither of our keys work to activate. I even waited 6 hours to make sure there wasn't some silly synchronization issue with the keys.
Hopefully this will get looked at in the morning when staff gets to work.
As a side note if I go to the game directory and use the run application I can start the game but I do not consider this a fix.
Same problem here. I e-mailed [email protected] and I hope it'll be fixed soon.
Am I getting all the same content if I launch the expansions from steamapps? Hope this is fixed. If I end up unhappy with $5 purchase, why pay $99 to the same company later?
Am in the same boat. I have emailed support, ticket number QRL-576-55711, but as of yet I havn't received a reply.
Hope we can get this worked out so we can all enjoy our purchase fully.
