[Solved] Windows Blinds Trial Period Glitch

Ever since I uninstalled WindowsBlinds, I have been getting really annoying glitches: some text is grey, some is black and the background is black, and the X button is huge. Last time I had it I was using the Legend pack.

Any help? The check boxes in my game launcher might help me improve my preformance but I can't read it because it's black

What operating system are you using? If Windows 7, open your command prompt window and type sfc /scannow and press enter. When it is all done, reboot and check things. This should work in XP and Vista also, not sure about Windows 8/8.1 though.

What OS? Did you revert back to the default OS skin before uninstalling WindowBlinds? If not, re-install WB's and do so, then uninstall WB's and reboot.

My trial version ran out, and I can't go back to it. I am running Windows 8.1.

Have you tried applying any Windows 8 themes from Personalize to see if that resets it?  If you go with LightStars suggestion, make sure you run the command prompt as administrator and leave a space between sfc and /scannow. Be patient, it may take some time to complete.

Thank you, I tried changing the theme from the Personalize screen and it worked. The X button is still huge, but that's fine.
