When Riot admits that their new item is going to make assassins out of control when it's released?  You're right to be afraid Cow.  Very afraid.  At least is sounds like they're ready to drop the nerf hammer on them and use this new item as a lever to try and keep them balanced as class.  Mr. Salacia Voice:  "We will watch... and see how this plays out."

That ratio of Support to Mid is bullshit.  I thought I saw somewhere they were going to try and fix that to make sure people got their primary role more often but wasn't able to find it.  Unless they fix that issue it's going to get much worse.  People like you who are willing to play Support but don't want to play it every game will stop putting it as their Secondary.  That will make the people left who are willing to play it as their Secondary end up playing it even more!  Which will cause them to put something else as their Secondary.

As far as I'm concerned, the actual Ranked season hasn't started yet and won't until they set up the Solo Queue.  If they want to try do something that makes things worse for the short term so that things are better in the long term then right now is the time to do it.

The passive isn't refreshed on kill/assist unless the passive does zero damage.  The item might end up OP at first and it might turn Zed into more of an obnoxious must ban turd than he's ever been before but the fact that you don't use up the passive until you actually get to use the passive doesn't seem all that bad to me.

I'm digging dynamic queue for the most part.  Playing ranked games feel like they matter more, so it kind of increases the we got a win feel.  I also really like that ranked tracks my stats consistently, so I can get a better idea of how I'm doing.  I dislike that you can't just have 2 people and queue up support/mid and mid/support... not enough variety.  w/e.  That stuff makes it a little more annoying to be the host.

I'm still wondering how big a hit the dynamic queue will take when solo starts up.  I tend to think that if I'm currently 1 out of 7 games getting mid if I choose mid and support... well that's going to be much, MUCH worse.  It would be cool if maybe they had some system in place that will intentionally wait a bit longer to make sure at least every few games you get your primary role... 7 games is a bit silly.  That crap benefits me more often than not if I want to play support though.  

League of Bursts.

Riot's fucking stupid.  It's the only explanation for why they think AD assassins need more burst when they already have an item with AA resetting dickcheese, or why they can't see how monumentally fucked any non tank is when a tank takes this item and kills them in 2 seconds with an otherwise full tank build combined with Titanic Hydra.

man I am off my game so far tonight.  stuck mid twice. kill it the 1st game.  Get absolutely annihilated 2nd game.  Get to support game 3.  Then enemy fps morg... pretty much my preferred support currently.  I go zyra and play like a bozo.  Queuing up again...

I split push, get an inhib, my team has 2 turrets before our inhib, and 2 base turrets... overextends dies. No tp up on enemy team - so free inhib if we dont... engage... like crazy peoples.  Anyway, I asked for it and I got it, so fair enough.

Had a few really good games recently where I felt like I was doing great... and a few where I was smeh.  Bumped into a super good morg the other day.  

Failed promos, which I kind of expected, so that's fine.  Only thing I'm bummed about was my last ranked yesterday - I played like crap and got tilted.  Happens.  

also.. uh... # jungle busted pretty hard.

gg's tonight.  Played 3 or so solo - 2 norms where I worked on some champs I haven't played in a bit (was really impressed by a nami the other day - seemed highly skilled, so I gave that a go - went ok).  1 ranked - morg support and got a win.  Created the game ending play by getting a great initiate as morg, surviving a bit, then keeping max distance to lock in cc for a kill.  We were already ahead to be fair.

Then had a really great dive series trading off tanking etc.  Not perfect, but really good dmg juggling.  This ended up tilting the enemy team against raka.

Need to make a hunny vid later.  Think I have the replay (game ended at 11PM or so 2/8) - he had a play as cait where he evaded pursuit for like 3 minutes after getting a kill, running through enemy base, etc. Anyway, if I get a chance tomorrow I'll make a vid and post to youtube/here.  He had a pretty great play tho.

Some gg's last night.  Played a few with just Hunny - one he threw a bit then single handedly carried, so that's good.  

Then got some fun games in with both him and thunder.  Finished the night having qualified for my gold 1 to plat V series again.  We'll see how things go but I might get to play in those tonight.  

That's it, I'm building a new computer.  The motherboard has always been a bit bad on this one, and its getting worse.  Plus the whole thing is a bit old anyway.

Anyway, I'll be out of town for the weekend for work, so I'll see you guys next week.

Failed my promos again last night - 3 straight losses.  Not really all that upset by it, though.  I run support/top for my 2 roles in that order.

• Game 1 I'm braum.  My mid tilts off the planet, my top laner picked mundo because he was free and not because he had any skill with him.  My jungler is inept and dies multiple times trying to invade when he's behind as shyvanna and my adc isn't able to get the job done.  I play really well, but then start getting sloppy towards the end - got picked once being where I shouldn't be, died a few times to secure kills for the team (that's ok).  Overall I played well, but I need to be less reactionary if the team is garbage - just keep on point, ward safely, support as best I can, and minimize risk.  
• Game 2 - I'm quinn top.  This game was straight up awful.  The game starts with a 3 man gank in top lane that waits for me to come out with the creep wave and then gets my flash, blows 2 flashes of their own + exh, but gets a kill on me.  Enemy team then lane swaps and aggressively denies me CS.  Their top lane dbl jungles and our bot lane slowly pushes the enemy turret down.  our jungler does not react properly to the lane swap.  He neither helped top nor went bot to try to push the enemy turret down (he did ping me for help in his jungle while I was behind tho....).  Anyway, I got put behind by an ok opening gambit, and then kept behind by their support keeping pressure on me.  I didn't really tilt, but I got super frustrated.  Tried to keep my cool.  I should have just relaxed more and chilled out at my turret.  Our team did not react to the enemy teams strategies.  My kda goes to absolute hell as I end up getting malphite ulted literally 7 times and then die when those ults are followed up by a roaming ali.  So many things I could have done better
• Game 3 - I'm morgana.  This game was really just our team being way too dumb to win.  I play very well in lane and get us multiple kills by making very good plays.  I'm able to get most of the kills on my adc.  I'm able to land binding after binding to setup very easy, good engages during mid and late, but the team's positioning is kind of soft (considering we have a malphite with ult as well).  Our udyr is not particularly good.   Our zed is pretty freaking bad. Our malphite completely wiffed like 3 ults... ><.  For my faults though, I got frustrated again with the teams ineptness.  I had a very tight kda at one point.  I died once choosing to get into a bad position to save someone.... I might have not needed to do that.  I got picked one time going to ward (thought we had a pick op on someone after the ward... I thought a few of us were tracking the same person and saw them iso'd... was just me... and the fella that was with me ran off somewhere else... which I didn't notice, so I'm bad).  I think my main problem is some of these games is really just getting more frustrated than I should, which negatively impacts my play. 

Anyway, played 1 more ranked at blitz. We got a win, but our team was trying desperately to throw.  Game went on 20 minutes too long because of 2 awful late game fights.  Was nice to get a win anyway.  Game was so much harder than it needed to be.  Probably back to it tonight.  

Fun games tonight - 1 dummo game thrown like a god, 2 really good games.  1 hunny carried very well, another i did really, really well as braum.  Back in series.  Time to lose 3 times in a row bby!

Well, I blew it and I'm currently 1/1 in my series instead of going 0/3 this time.  Will probably try to get my ranked series in again tonight and see if I can hit plat this time.  

TRYING to find a good balance where I'm focused on analyzing my own play after each game and then critiquing myself.  For instance, I'll go back and think about how I overextend to ward at this point when it was not safe, I make a bad play, etc.  And then take it further to analyze bad patterns/behaviors.  A few of my recent observations of myself:

• If I see someone on my team do something that's just completely awful, I am incredibly likely to make an awful play on the back of that if I'm in close proximity to them.  Its like I'm briefly stunned.  Sometimes it will be like my adc positioning horribly, so I'll try to quickly over compensate for them to keep them alive. Other times folks will do that sort of thing and for like a second, I don't reason logically and instead just get into wonky positions myself.  The trigger for this is pretty much 100% me observing something god awful in very close proximity to me.  Something to work on.  
• I'm doing a lot better with map awareness and proper grouping.  
• Playing supports like braum with their poopy, support only scaling, help me to want to get money on my adcs.  
• I'm getting better at praising folks for good plays, still too critical on negative ones, but I'm keeping my mouth shut for most part

Last - hunnybadger gets way too greedy sometimes and does still need a kick in the butt form time to time to knock it off.  I think he had a min of 2 deaths per game due to doing some greedy stuffs.  He did pretty great in a few games and carried nicely.  

Got plat V (22kda on last game - was some savage shit).  Can no longer queue with hunny (he's s1, I'm plat V).  Playing w/ him on an alt.
