How do I counter minidumps?

They are the most op unit in the game... Just last week I was playing eco and had over 200 credits per second... Novas were annihilating enemy planets and it seemed our team was sweeping to an easy victory... Then the enemy team started to build mass minidumps and we quickly lost. How do I counter them and what am I doing wrong? Do I just need to spam more dominias and cielos?

There's only one way to counter the mini-dump spam, and it's a closely held secret of mine.  There's a key combination that just rapes all their units and wins you every battle, but it can only be used at the immediate start of each match.

As soon as the game loads, repeatedly press Alt+F4. 

Presto.  You're now everyone's first and favorite choice in 5s.

It's not exactly an intended strategy, but colony frigates can do wonders against minidumps. It's a little know fact that their damage type is actually quite effective against them, plus they have fairly good health. So if you're worried about losing the game to minidumps, just spam colony frigates, and the game will soon be over.
