I watched that clip and throughout was totally disgusted at how unevenly things are stacked in the US financially, that the top 1% almost has more wealth than the remainder put together. I'm disgusted because it's pretty much the same here in Australia... yes, we have some of the greediest bitches and bastards on the planet here, and I wouldn't p!ss on any of 'em if they were on fire.
Thing is, with this enormous wealth being shared between a handful of greedy rich fechs and being stockpiled for their 'rainy days', rather than reinvest in the ecomonies that helped get them there, the outcome is most likely another GFC... only far worse this time than last, and several leading economists are predicting it is not too far away. Regardless, however, while the masses are unemployed, starving and even made homeless, the top 1% - 10% will continue to sit in their ivory towers, leading opulent and extravenant lifestyles like nothing has happened.
What a shame that fatal heart attack isn't a communicable disease, and the wealthy top 10% came down in an epidemic of it... it'd help balance the books a little more evenly, me thinks, cos it seems nothing else will.
