Effective Fleet Compositions in multiplayer

Hey guys,

I wanted to start a collection of effective mid/lategame fleetcomps/synergies in multiplayer games for all races, since i am not sure wich ships i should go for in the late game to create a well balanced fleet and want some options to choose from. If you name a fleet composition please explain the idea why you choose this ships and the strengths/weaknesses of this composition. I'll start with a standard advent fleet composition i know  :grin:

 

Ilums + guardian with repulse:

The idea behind that is pretty simple, guardians keep everything that threaten the ilums at bay while ilums with their aoe clear the enemy fleet. Also repulse guardians allow for nice traps, so its possible to get some valuable enemy capships killed. Biggest disadvantage is the missing tankiness of the fleet, also it is vulnerable to fighter/bomber swarms. I like to keep one or two halcyons with that fleet to protect them from bombers. Als imo this fleet comp is quite expensive to get, especially repulse. but combined with a titan i think this fleet can deal alot of damage.

That is right and all, but lets just say the early game is over and the lf spam reaches a stalemate. Lets also assume i have some feed/eco at my hand. The idea behind this thread is to present some allround solutions. sure you can always build mass counter, but in the ilum guardian comp this doesnt really work since botch corvettes and heavy cruisers are not usefull to counter this.

Build a second cap or start LRM production secretly if there is LE stalemate.

STILL THAT IS NOT WHAT I WANT XD . This is about synergies, which ship to use in what fleet, not about what to counter with what.

Ok, mass dominia and guardian spam synergizes extremely well with all advent fleets.

I have seen mass vasari minelayer used by many skilled players lately. It actually works extremely well.
