Equipment I cannot find in XML files

Hi all,

 

This week I had a few days off and started installing mods and messing with LH.  I understand that there are 2 places where mods changes take place.  

1. ...Documents\My Games\legendaryheroes\Mods       Thats were most of the mods are installed

2. ...Steam\SteamApps\common\FE Legendary Heroes\data\English     Changes can be made to the core files, although I try to avoid it.

 

Has anyone heard of the equipment Strange Outfit, Defensive Surcoat or Forest Leather Armor?  My unit designs get access to those armors when I finish researching leatherworking.  They have items descriptions, graphics and stats in game but I cannot find them anywhere in the above directories.  Any idea where else I can search for them?  Thanks!

Never heard of them.  What mods have you got installed sounds like it must be in one of those?

Thanks abob for the reply, I have about 10 mods installed in the mods directory.  I ended up just removing half the mods, then testing, then removing more until I found those items came from the mod called Heroic Pursuits.  In the past I have used the windows 7 search feature combined with notepad++ to search/edit those xml files but for some reason this file was not searchable with Windows 7 search so it made it impossible for me to find it normally.  

 

Is there any modding tools that will scan/manage mods for LH?  Id gladly pay $5 for something that can manage these XML files.

Thanks Primal, although it seems that the Notepad++ takes longer to search the mods directory, oh well.  Any idea how I can find the ability or upgrade that allows the player to hire units larger than 3?  I'm trying to search for UnitGroupingType its not quite what I want.  I just want to move this upgrade to another place in the tech tree.  Any ideas?  Thanks again!

Thanks for the reply Primal!  Yes the UnitGroupingType was what I was looking for.  Although it appears that changing where UnitGroupingTypes are unlocked could cause problems if I moves one to another tech tree (civilization).  It works slightly differently than the A_MaxArmySize.  Al lest I know where to look now, thanks again.
