Captain America: The Winter Soldier

Went and saw this last night - thought it was really well done. Did a great job of setting up Captain America as a leader for the Avengers. Managed to pull on some heart strings, too. Not to mention there were some awesome previews beforehand: Spiderman 2, Guardians of the Galaxy, Maleficent, XMen: Days of Future Past, etc. It's gonna be a great summer of movies.

Anybody else seen it? What'd you think?

I'm looking forward to Guardians of the Galaxy (the plant guy) and Maleficent (Angelina with horns and no wings).

Not seen it yet, looking forward to it. Wish the trailers didn't have so much info in them.

A little too much 'knock down the bad guy then turn around, bad guy gets back up and lands another blow' for me

Saw it.  It was great.  It really sets up the rest of MCU Phase 2.  My only complaint is that I thought it could have been even better than it was.

As far as trailers go, this is the first movie that I've ever seen where I really felt like the trailers gave away the movie completely.  I guess practically everything about it based on the one 2:30 trailer I saw.  That entire elevator scene from the trailers can be seen coming 10 minutes away.  Totally ruins the effect of the scene.

great movie.   Highly recommended if you like the marvel movies such as the Avengers, you will like this one.

I really enjoyed it. The action was top notch. The character interactions made them seem more human and less one dimensional IMO.

I agree that the trailer sort of gave away a part of the movie that could have really been more of a surprise. But the character development was definitely more human. Now, to see Spiderman 2....
