Thalan needs some work

Ok can I ask am I the only one who can’t see how the Thalan body can work biomechanically speaking?

They are kind of humanoid in GC3 but with awkwardly jointed arms that are long and kind of on backwards and look like they would give both hand eye co-ordination issues since their eyes face forward but their arms are mostly behind them, and balance issues because their arms look big and heavy and hang a long way behind them.

Now I’m all for having less humanoids in the GC universe, yes I know it’s explained in the lore but I’d still like more variety. The problem is now the Thalan’s are almost humanoid in a very clumsy and unnatural looking way that frankly tends to make me giggle whenever I see them.

It’s odd most the art work is top notch in GC3 but the design of the Thalan body just seems awkward and ill considered.

Since they are in the intro movie may be too late to change, but what do you think? Is it only me?

I think it's because the Thalan evolved from a Race whose arm pit smell was so bad that they were forced to keep their arms up at all time in order to keep the place dry and prevent the horrible smell.

After a few million years of keeping their arms up in the air, it became their natural position and the dreaded armpits disappeared.

Actually it looks like their shoulders are fitted backwards and upside down, I'd like to see a rendered movie in the game of how they make practical use of those arms that doesn't have people rolling on the floor with laughter... If so I take it all back.
