Ultrasound: More than a diagnostic technology

This is the dream of many. An OR without knives. Decreased side effects and adverse effects of medication. Rapid reperfusion in heart attacks and strokes, without catheterization and medications which can be quite dangerous.

Here’s a youtube presentation worth watching…it will be part of the future.

Elana, that's 100% correct. This is yet another 'bladeless' knife. So many shining hopes for the future...so many universes to save!

I remember reading a sci-fi book back in the 70's.  One thing mentioned was how the 'ancients' used various wavelengths 'of light' to do surgery.  Not crazy after after all.

Too bad there's no documentation...I tend to suspect stories accompanied by hoaky music.

What is certain is that this is no nargila inspired dream...this is the real technology. Hope it brings healing.

Healing. Healing is the highest, most noble, and most worthwhile action humanity can aspire to.  Now if we could just come up with a way to heal the minds and consciences of the uber rich, 1 percenters.  Heal them so they actually see the rest of us, not as an 'underclass,' or a source of cheap, disposable labor, nor as a group in need of culling, but rather as their true kin, true family, deserving of being inside their circle of caring.  Now that's healing that will accelerate all the other needed interventions.  B"H

So as to keep the thread OT, I am just going to point out that not only was Dr. Abdel Hakim Awyan an indigenous Khemitian wisdom keeper, but he also held degrees in both Archaeology and Egyptology.  But what do indigenous people know of their history, right?  That was an excerpt from a series of documentaries by a few highly accredited Egyptologists, Khemitologists, and Geologists.  I will let you do additional research proportionate to your curiosity.  Let me just say that Dr. Awyan was the kind of man to say "I don't know", if he didn't know.  Discrediting a book simply because it wears a different cover than you limits nobody but yourself.

Regarding the OP: truly wonderful work.  I look forward to seeing where it goes.

I got an ultrasonic toothbrush, don't really use it though.   I prefer my regular toothbrush.

I can imagine a day when people use ultrasonic screwdrivers.

The difference between the two is, I maintain, that the tech version has been built and proven. It has its basis in hypothesis and experiment. The other remains in the realm of theory or speculation...possible but until reconstructed/recreated, just/only that.

lol.  why would you waste precious time advertising that you have no interest in anthropology?  just stop watching the instant you realize that you have no interest in the video's subject matter, and that it isn't violating the ToS.  the way you're communicating is only making your company look bad.

dr. awyan contributed greatly to the anthropological field.  all i was pointing out was that the notion of using intersecting harmonic waves to accomplish a goal is not a new concept; and that it's about time we were melting tumors with them.  grow up.

bones - you can do better.  bah, i have better things to do..

Chariots of the Gods and other such tripe are the panacea for the weak.  Borderline Scientology ...and 'Religion' really has exactly zero to do with the OP, so yes, it does.
