Let's organize our first online game! :3

Figured I should go down in history as being the first person to ask for a multiplayer match in the game, because I'm an excessively important and critical individual. On the day of release, I'll set up a tiny game for myself to get acquainted with the game, then host this one for those who are interested.

Largest map (Go big or go home!) (Some people can't handle that kind of map, sweet little things :3) Medium map.

Stars, planets, anomalies and resources to abundant, technology to ultra fast, habitable planets to rare, stars in tight clusters.

8 players (Dibs on Altarians!), 2 teams of 4. 4 players, 2 v 2 (Happy?)

Assuming all goes well (which it won't) we'll be able to test and inspect a bunch of the new features of the game together, and also see if the new multiplayer is any good. It should also be fun, for me and my team, to beat you into the muck and bomb you into the stone age. Hopefully after your planets are incandescent and your people are turned into chum I'll/we'll be capable of leaving an educated first impression.

4 PM/ 16:00  Canada/United States Eastern time. Perhaps another at 20:00 (I fully expect the previous game to be a short bloodbath)

I am usually available from 1030 to 1500 (UTC-05:00) Eastern Time (US & Canada) and maybe an hour or two past 2300 on a good night. Afternoon shifts suck.

I don't usually play online, but I am eager to try this. (I think I am pretty good at strategy games, but will more likely get owned)

Are there many players from the UK?

I'm in the UK, and am also probably going to be terrible at playing against real people.

I think every one should port their timezones. But maybe another thread should be started for this.

There's a timezone thread going on at https://forums.galciv3.com/452605/page/1/#3451916 with a bunch of people so far.

There seem to be a few people in the UK over there.
