Nice :)

I saw your original post and was wondering what you were trying to do...but this explains it!

I always felt that the Path Selection window should be two rows instead of one, once you added new classes, You'd probably need Stardock's widget thingie to redesign the window, though.

Someone added a few classes a while back, which is a concept that I think should be encouraged, not discouraged.  Trying to shoehorn everyone's playing style into just 5 paths tends to water things down a bit, or generate excess clutter, depending on how detailed you want to get with the abilities...

But then that's an issue I've seemed to have a lot with the various iterations of Elemental.  Instead of encouraging more options, we get options taken away, some of which can't be easily restored by modding, and some not restorable at all at this point.  Hence why I tend to think the game has been dumbed down a bit, IMHO.  This is why I burn out on Elemental Modding fairly quickly when I get the bug.  I want to take the game in a direction in my mods that has been cut off...

Sorry about that little diatribe there.  I'm looking forward to seeing where you end up with this!  Keep up the good work!

...since I've been able to make 5-6-7-8-9-10 Choice Windows...

Do you by chance know what the resolution limits are for these choices?

As I remember, you need to modify some core code to redesign the window, and of course have the relevant Stardock program (you might be able to try to work around it, but the program was used to design the interface you see now).

WindowBlinds?  ObjectDesktop?  I don't remember now... plus this would modify some of the 'core' code, so it isn't a simple .xml modification. I ran into a similar issue back in the EWOM days with something else I was trying to do, ended up giving up due to the depth of the mod (asking people to modify the non.xml files, or add said mod to their system, was a bit extreme in my and other's point of view).

It'd be easier/more acceptable probably to get Stardock to do it on their end, that way they can release it in a patch, but they may not see the need...

Still need to take some of these new mods for a spin at some point... been wanting to actually try out the Path Of The Ranger for a bit now, but I've been distracted by other games...

Height: 768

Width: 193 per choice + 59 for the frame

Being lazy and not having examined the mod in question yet, can you squeeze more in if you also replace the graphics with smaller (or at least narrower) images?

So are all these 10 paths filled?

Good thinking...creating new, smaller image files and modding the existing paths to use the smaller images could help to make room for a lot of new paths.

So the modded ones are included in your mod?

Ah ... thanks. I understand now - so they do exist.

Also, one issue I see is that it will depend on the resolution of the person's screen. I for example game at 2560 x 1440, so I could fit 13 such skills with no problem.

Just a suggestion for easier solution - probably an arrow icon at the upper right corner
