Black text in dark theme

I've just bought Windowblinds and Start8 and installed them in Windows 8.1. I've installed the 7Dusk theme that came with WB. I like it, but I have one issue - in some places black text is being used on a dark background, as in the example below (below the white box, where you have to select to agree to the license). I can't find where I can change this; I've looked in the WB configuration, but I can't anywhere that text is set to black. Could someone please tell me where I can change this?

Unreadable black text

It may be the window text, not using wb8, not positive, if it is, it will change the bulk of your window text making the skin useless.

I know this does not help, but an empty post is discouraging. Someone with a definite answer will be along, I am sure of it.

Could be hard coded also, if so you would have to change maybe the button face /dialogue background or window background.

But, just rambling until you get real help, lol.

Thanks for the reply, anyway :)

I've realised the problem is always the text for a check box (or radio buttons), if that helps anyone pinpoint where I can change that.

Oops. I think the error is mine. I think this theme is not for Windows 8.1, and I think I installed it myself when I was using the trial version of WB.

So I think I'll have to look for a nice dark theme that does work fully with Windows 8.1.

If it's a win 7 WB it should work fine so the text would be something different. Maybe a screen shot of another part that is used much more often will point to correct solution.

Just so you know Steve523, it does not matter if you are using Windows 7 or Windows 8, or 8.1, or even Windowblinds 7 or 8.  The color of the text, which is in fact controlled by the Window Text color setting in SkinStudio 7 or 8, can be changed by using that setting.  The only problem is that if you make the text lighter so that it can be seen in dark areas of the skin, the text color in the white area of your screenshot will also become lighter as it is a universal setting in SkinStudio and Windowblinds.

The major problem in your screenshot is that it uses a Button Face color in the settings of SkinStudio, (the dark background color), that is too dark to accommodate the black text being used in the skin.

This is a problem with all dark skins unfortunately and the only workaround is to have a lighter Button Face color that will work with black text. :S

That's brilliant - I lightened the Button Face just enough to make the text visible. Many thanks.
