Mom is resting well. Her vital signs were good and stable with no surprises or concerns. They will begin weaning her this weekend from the respirator slowly. If she is unable to breathe on her own, they will do the tracheotomy early next week. The meds have not changed any. They seem to have found a good balance to stabilize the heart rate and blood pressure.
I would ask you to consider praying for her son, Scott. He has had back muscle spasms all week not allowing him to work. This has kept him from visiting Mom also. Dad has caught a cold which prevents him from seeing Mom also. Lord willing, I will be visiting Mom all Saturday & Sunday afternoon. We will complete chapters 1 , 2 & 3 probably. My comments will be listed under the heading, "philosophy".
I ask the saints to persevere keeping your sin accounts short with the Father. This weekend will be a struggle for Mom. I was heard it said that God enjoys answering "knee" mail!
