Is the FE map pack still available? Is it the same as LH Map Pack?

Hello,

I tried to find where I could buy the Fallen Enchantress Map Pack DLC from Stardock, but all I could find was a forum post FAQ that linked to about six different Legendary Heroes DLCs, including a Map Pack.

Soo... are the FE and LH Map Pack DLC one and the same? (Buy one, get it for both games?)

Is the Fallen Enchantress Map Pack no longer for sale? Or what?

All the information I can find predates LH, so I'm having trouble figuring out what to buy.

Four months and no one has answered this question. Just today I too was looking for the Fallen Enchantress map pack and was unable to find it. I too would like to know if I can buy it, or if the Legendary Heroes pack is compatible with Fallen Enchantress.

The map pack for FE should be the same as LH. You should be able to use the maps with FE.

Hey guys, I wrote to Stardock support and here's what they told me:

 

The map packs are the same between the 2 games but they get installed to difference places. There is this purchase page here: https://www.elementalgame.com/fallen-enchantress/mappackdlc

Steam should handle this if you purchase from us and then redeem the key within Steam. If it does not, I will issue you a key for the missing map pack.

So there you go. I'm not sure how it works, exactly. Buy the map pack for Fallen Enchantress, and it also shows up in Legendary Heroes? Or is manually moving it even possible? It's really confusing, but that's where you buy it at least.

Well, I bought the map pack, and it turns out that I already have everything that was in the pack. I do not remember buying it before, but it appears that I have given Stardock a $5. gift, meaning they got the fiver, and I got nothing. Oh well.

I can confirm that the maps do work in Fallen Enchantress.

There was an old bug that gave the map-pack for free to many people who did not purchase it. Apparently, you were the victim (beneficiary) of this bug.

Heh. Well, ok then. In that case I don't begrudge the five bucks. ;-)
