Quoting Uvah, reply 19Nothing to look at with a printer/scanner that needs ink.

Uvah, hit the reset button on the cartridge.

Boxxi. love that keyboard!

Me too...... I don't like any others, so I bought several when they appeared on Ebay. So I have brand new back-ups too..... :)

I also had lots of those Intellimouse Explorers that you see on the left, but I wore them all out and they became too expensive even if you could find them. But, That Zalman mouse is REALLY good, so I have bought a few of those too...... :)

I knew you didn't like Win 8, but isn't this just a bit extreme? :-"

Updated my setup today.
Chucked out (sorta) the monitors, replacing them with 3 new 27" Neovo L-W27 monitors.

Am in the throes of constructing an RC F1 Red Bull ....the one that comes in a squillion weekly parts....on the same workbench...and there wasn't enough grease provided for the diff...so that's marine grease [waterproof] I use for my bikes...;)

It won't double as thermal paste....;)

I not so long ago acquired a Phillips 29" Ultra Wide monitor, which I pair with my LG 27" to increase screen real estate.

What I'm hoping to do, though, is purchase another Phillips 29" to pair up with the other on my desk, and have the 27" on a side table to watch TV and movies, etc.  However, that will have to wait as I'm currently building a new Intel machine bit by bit by bit.

So far I've got the case, mobo and CPU sorted.  I already have the PSU, GPU, sound card and Optical drives from previous builds, so all I need to get is RAM a couple of storage drives and the SSD for the OS.  All up it'll cost me $1400 [not including parts I already had], but it's a high-end Intel machine and will truly rock the casbah... er, kick ass.

Yeah, I felt like a change. I mean, I like AMD CPUs and they've always served me well, but I spied this i7 4770K at a good price and decided it was for me.  I hope to have it completed by the end of March, if not sooner, and then I'll post some piccies and the specs of this sexy beast.

Ah, the benefits derived from quitting the smokes and rarely ever drinking...being a general tight arse.  When I look back at how much money I blew on smokes and alcohol, loose... er, desirable women, fech me, I could've had decent shit like this yonks ago.

Oh well, better late than never.... and I don't care what anybody says, 60 ain't too old to be a geek.

And I thought I was a tight arse, hehe.  I took one look at that setup and thought: "Oh look, somebody's tipped their garbage on Jafo's desk."  Then I realised you probably brought it home from the tip yourself.

:w00t:

:O Well take a look at that!  It's 7.25am and I haven't been to bed yet.  Time I peered at the inside of my eyelids.
