just wanted to say hi all.

 

I just found out that GCIII is in production, and it rocked my world, I hadde given up all hope a long time ago... this is amazing news. heave not read one thing on this yet, I just droped down 100$ on the full package, simply because it's GC...

can someone direct me to some good reads on GC3...

oh, and why is this not on every news station by now? i'm definitely gonna let all over at star citizen and egosoft know about this!!!

This was the most awesome news ever back in October when I heard about this new game coming out. Have you heard about the founders package for $100 or if you can't afford that the cheap Beta for $40. In the founders package you get the Alpha, Beta, Galactic civilizations 3, and any expansions to the game.

thx m8 :) wow, I'm getting so hyped, I have contless huers in GC2. and cant wait to try this. enhanced tactical in combat and more interesting colony building, wow those where the slight down sides with GC2 and now they are improving that, just awesome!

yeah I bought the 100$ packaged... I enjoy supporting games that's not as popular as CoD, BF or blizzards games. scify games has strugled with funding and I drop money on it every time I see a scify game to voice my support. supported nexus 2 even though it got canceled, bought all of the x games, even though the last one is struggling. pre ordered elite dangerous. I even have droped down 2800$ on star citizen.

Welcome, I just signed up as an Elite Founder also. I love space games, having played many hundreds of games of MOO2, but only a couple dozen games of GC2, trying to learn it better and to get ready for GC3 alphas.

I bought the Elite Founder package too; Alpha, Beta, GCIII & all DLC in one price. Bargain. Translated into Pound Sterling, I recently bought a PS4 controller for roughly the same price.

I've played GC2 for so many years now. Other games have come and gone but CG2 is always on my HDD. GCIII is going to be my ultimate game of all time, I fear.

I just found out a couple days ago, too, MichaelEspebu, and only hesitated a day... ha! How could I possibly NOT get GalCiv III? I still pick up II every few months and form an empire.
