Holiday Plans

I am going to be doing...absolutely nothing but gaming and programming. I will be loving every second of it. WOOT!!!

I just finished my finals. It's been a rough last few months with plenty of ups (including BlizzCon), some major letdowns, and a ton of homework. But I have a couple days where I'm gonna smell because I am not doing a damn thing including taking a shower...I kid, my wife will never let me get away with that. I picked up EU4 and I've decided on a game programming project I want to start. I'm excited if you couldn't tell. I suppose I could visit the fam too I guess :D

Anyways, I'm curious if anyone else has any plans.

Driving to Buffalo, NY to meet my oldest daughter for lunch.  Besides that, just writing, learning blogging, and researching how to do recordings of game play, vids of RL for YouTube, etc. with the intention of doing a weekly show.  Don't have to worry about family as I live alone.  Mostly good.

Do a search for OBS. It's free and pretty simple to setup. You can always upgrade to the better tools later. I'm considering doing the same. I have a twitch and youtube account. I've done some streaming to show friends Fallen Enchantress or Anno 2070. I might just start streaming whenever I play online and interacting with whoever shows up.

Holidays.  What are they?

When I'm not full-time Architecturing, or Monitoring these web-sites 24/7/365, I'm [still] renovating this house.....

I could 'do the sums'...40 years of Architecture....+ 12 years of site Admin... + 26 years of house renovating [it recycles] = 78 years.

...and I'm 'only' 59.

Plenty of time to rest-when-you're-dead, I guess...;)

@ jafo.  yes, Great movie (Brit) that reflects your statement.  "Dead Long Enough"  Not a classic movie, but a fun little romp...

@Illuana thanks for suggestions... lots for me to learn... and I'm older than jafo.... so i have to hurry!  :)

Not much of anything really. I live alone, don't know where my family is or even if they're still around. Haven't heard from them in years and don't expect to so........just me and my two cats. Tons of fun.

Yea. Same, minus the cats/pets bit. Gets lonely, but there ya have it. Here's hoping we both find a smile or fifteen on that day, and throughout the season. <3

Throwing a Christmas lunch for my Mum's 96th Christmas.... off to the fish markets the day before to organise a spread...hopefully will have cooled down a little on the day.... been pretty hot... got a pav ready in case it's too hot for pudding... even though it seems it's been decided it is a Kiwi dessert...  ;P

A happy Christmas day to everyone, and for those finding themselves on their own this year... when my son was a tot I spent a Christmas interstate with no other family around.... we headed to the beach with turkey sandwiches, slices of fruit cake and apple cider.... it was actually a pretty cool Christmas I remember fondly... do something different... see what you can come up with... ;)

Just about to drive downtown where I'm helping at an event where we're giving a Xmas meal to about 4000 people that are not so fortunate as our family. It's called Father Woody's Xmas...........everyone gets a two course Xmas meal and the kids get an Xmas present from Santa.

Then it's back to work on Monday...............then off from Tuesday till the following Monday with the wife and kids............There's plenty of snow up in the Rocky's so we'll head up there on Thursday.

Merry Xmas everyone :)
