How do you use your own custom path images?

How can you use your own custom path images?

I have:

button_trait_unit_xxxx.png

highlight_button_trait_unit_xxxx.png

I have a folder in gfx with these files and it does not work the folder has the same name as the mod folder.

paths i am using

MyGames/LegendaryHeroes/Mods/MyMod

MyGames/LegendaryHeroes/Mods/GFX/MyMod

 

I tried using the Path of the Ranger mod as an example.  But that mod appears to not work at all.  The image sizes are the same as the other path buttons.

 

What am I not doing?

 

Any help would be appreciated.
