Windows 8.1, the Win8 skin and the Show Desktop button

Hi!
Just a quick question. The size of the Show Desktop button has apparently been changed in Windows 8.1.
When I am using the Win8 skin, this results in the following:
1) The skinned texture does not match the new size of the button, resulting in an overlap, as evident from the image below:
2) I use two monitors. The Show Desktop button on the second monitor is now completely dysfunctional, yet it is still displayed.
Thing is, I really dislike that behavior, introduced in Windows 8.1. I'd like the old Show Desktop button, a wider one (like back on Windows 7/8), which works on all displays and not just the primary one. Is it possible to implement this in Start8/WindowBlinds? and if not, is it possible to fix the skin overlap issue?
