Post your current system specs if you know em...

Greetings again! I had a short argument with a friend of mine and he is saying that Console gamers are far and above better gamers than PC ones. This was primarily in regard to shooters such as Call of Duty and such. Anyway we all know that PC gamers can easily OWN console gamers and I closed my argument with that! I then ended on how much more PC can bring to the table and started to list what I had vrs say a PS4. In the long run, I am sure a PC is going to have far better life than a PS4. However that does come with a cost....

Really this thread is for the folks designing our game, perhaps they can get a slice of what some of use play on.  I built this system myself and I am happy with the results.

Ok so here is what I got...

Asrock Motherbord Z77 Extreme 6

Intel 3570 K Quad core, (Overclocked to 4.2)

Cooler Master hyper 212 Evo

Gskill Ripjaws DDR 3 2133 (2 x 4 gig)

Win 7 Pro 64

Corsair 850 Gold Power supply.

Seagate Barracuda 1 Terrabyte HDD (7200 rpm)

OZC 64 gig SSD Gen 3 ( I am using Intels 'Smart response technology' to use this as a cache drive for the HDD)

EVGA's Gefore GTX 670 2 gb. no sli here..just one card.

Oh and I play on an Asus 27" HD 1080P monitor.

There are much better rigs out there but I am curious as to what folks here who play 4x games got....

Happy comparisons!

Did you know that Steam tracks all of that information if you opt in?

What if I told you I love all games, PC Games, Console Games, Tabletop Games, Tablet Games. I love playing games, rolling dice, flipping cards, pushing buttons, etc. I go where the games I want to play are. Which means eventually I get around to everything.

That said I've got

Dual Xeon e5462 2.8ghz processors (8 cores)

14GB RAM

GTX 680 Mac Edition

240GB SSD Windows 7 Boot Drive

2TB Western Digital Black Windows Data Drive

2TB Seagate SSHD Macintosh Boot Drive

3TB eSata Macintosh Data Drive

eSata Blu-Ray Burner

8TB Drobo Backup Drive

Gamecom 780 Headset

Razer Blackwidow Ultimate Mac Edition Keyboard

Razer Deathadder Mouse

I also have an i7 15" MBP with a 512GB SSD Dual Booted, 650M, 8GB RAM, Logitech Performance MX Mouse. I have an old iMac setup for some old games as well as a Pentium IV with XP and a Radeon 4650 for older games.

Under the TV there's currently a Wii U, PS3, Ouya, and a Gamestick.

I also have a Rastan arcade cabinet.

Some people buy expensive cars. I drive a late model economy and buy lots of games. So many games. And coffee so much coffee.

w00t! Epic thread to brag about my 1337 system! *cough*

Gigabyte EP45-DS3L
Intel Core 2 Duo E8400 (3GHz)
2x2GiB PC2-8500 DDR(2)-SDRAM
MSI Radeon HD 7750 1GiB GDDR5
Samsung SSD 840 Pro 128GiB
Samsung SpinPoint T166 HD321KJ 320GB
Windows 7 Home Premium (NL)
22" 1680x1050 LCD

The rest doesn't seem to matter much.

For those of you thinking, 'what an old system'; I bought the original system in November 2008 and in September 2013 I upgraded it to a new CPU, videocard, more memory and an SSD (the ones I listed). It suffices for me. There was actually no need for me to upgrade the CPU (Pentium Dual-Core E5200) but I thought it was time. The videocard (Radeon HD4670 512MiB GDDR3) was acting up so that had to go and I was still using WinXP so I figured why not get Win7 and an SSD too.

I might upgrade my motherboard, cpu, memory and monitor in two or three years for Star Citizen. Definately not sure about it though.

Yea this is a 'brag' thread if you think about it.

On the topic of Steam keeps all that information, true but its only available to Merchants. Is that information from Steam available to all?
