Skinnalicious Gets A Makeover

I think the site has been hacked.........I just clicked on the link and saw the front page and was then taken to another site called City Sex........I guess that is another type of skinning site!!!!

Odd, this is what I see when clicking the above link. Hmmmm....

Just tried it again.........using both Chrome and IE..........and the other site did not pop up this time. When the rogue site popped up this was the only tab that I had running in Chrome so it could not have come up from anywhere else. My machine is clean. Keep an eye on it.

Seems they're having glitches. Maybe links are not a good idea right now. Sorry.

We are having problems. I don't get that problem, but other people do. It's probably best to not click on the link. The site has been scanned and found to be clean, but, it still happens. Some think that it's the host server, because a reinstall of the site hasn't solved the problem.

Sorry about that; Pinchecl is trying lots of things--we may have to start from scratch (again).

Indeed...BitDefender threw up a warning about a malicious site.

Someone might want to take a look into that.

took a look (DOC)this is on the web page, There are so many problems that I had to decide to deactivate Skinnalicious until I am certain I have solved all the problems. Mind you, that may take a while. I may even decide to kill it and move everything to a new server/host. But let's be positive.....

I expect the fact that the site went untended for quite some time might have something to do with it...or perhaps someone nefarious co-opted the site name given the coincidental "skin" connection. You might check that angle out.

And, I am optimistic it will work out, somehow.

Doc, you are thinking of skinning.net....this is NOT that site bu,t Skinnalicious. net...which is pincheci's baby.  I see what captainmoonlight saw...hopefully Cliff will change servers.

It seems to be working properly now. Cliff (Pinchecl) reinstalled the site several times. It's been scanned by Mcafee, and the files have been scanned as well. He thought that the server provider was probably at fault, but they said they weren't. In the end, the server provider did find a problem.

Everything seems to be fine now;nobody that goes there on a regular basis has reported any problems for the last few days.

I tried to upload a DX theme, but it said MIME type not allowed, whatever that means!! I uploaded a WB skin with no problems.

Also.... I may have uploaded a WB skin to the wallpaper gallery...... OOPS! Hope you guys can fix that! Sorry! B[]

Yes, Skinnalicious is working great now!!  Da bugs are gone....nothing to do with Da Bears!!!
