so every time I see I's and L's together on this forum they appear green
As in the word willingness
Is anyone else seeing this? am i just nuts
to me at least it appears that there are several other letters that are partially shaded in green as well mostly any letter with a vertical line in it
It sounds like something in your monitor or video adaptor.
That, or yes, you're going crazy. 
I dont claim to have any idea what the issue is, but you could try zooming in. Vertical letters might be aligning directly over the green cell in the pixel... ehh, I doubt it. But it would be interesting to see if it grows with the font size.
Turn the monitor back to0 its haedware defaults, usually small buttons on the bottom or the side will access its internal menus - just hit defaults all round.
If still like it ...
Zap the driver, and purge any directory related to the screen, reload the driver.
If you are still getting the green tinges, my guess would be the screen is on its way out - get it tested in a local hardware shop.
zooming out one level [alt] +scroll wheel so I'm not sure exactly how much zoom got rid of it completely
there's about three zoom levels in total where it appears I also noticed before that viewing angle seems to play a part of it i have a low chair so I tend to look up at the monitor when standing and looking down at it the green lines turned pink
I just never noticed it on any other forums or anywhere else
