Maximum activations

I am trying to play Fallen Enchantress: Legendary Heroes and keep getting an error message saying Maximum Activations Reached, but I have not activated it on any other computers and have never even been able to play it. Any assistance would be appreciated.

Post Scriptum: a couple of days ago it was telling me that my serial number was invalid... the one which I did a Cut and Paste straight off my account page at the stardock.com site
