Seahawks windowblind Master Skin for Free

You won't be able to upload a sports team WB as they are protective of their IP.

I didn't know that you were a master skinner so I went looking on your profile and searching for your previous uploads. Where are your uploads anyhow. I can only remember two of them and I think they were based on superheros. Both were excellent and I often wondered what happen to you.

Have you considered contacting the Seahawk's for permission to do a WB based on the team. If they are smart enough they might give you permission, it would be in their interest to do so.

If 'Seahawks' is American Football then you can expect zero luck obtaining permission....;)

Yeah, I tried once getting permission for the Detroit Lions several years ago and never heard back from them.

What happened to "Fan Art" ??

There are A LOT of blinds here on site based on all sorts of "Brands"

Yeah, I don't understand why Picco was allowed to upload his awesome Looney Tunes Winstep theme, yet Xiandi was not allowed to upload her Marvin The Martian WB.

If anything, the NFL is even MORE 'anal' re their Commercialism of IP than Apple is....;p

Because sports teams have had things taken down before, so we just don't allow it to avoid future problems.   

I've done some fan art and it's good to know this, are there other categories that would be wise to steer clear of.

Yeah that was phrased badly... I didn't mean "Master Skin" I just meant complete. I've only uploaded 3 skins total and that was a long time ago but I've followed the site consistently. It sounds like I'll have troubles getting a Seahawks skin to pass which confuses me a little since all 3 of my last uploads were logo based. I still want to build something that resembles the Hawks maybe altered a bit to fit the guidelines. Thanks for the comment on my previous skins. They're kind of hard to find now as I changed emails and user names in between but the names are "Webslinger", "Dark Knight", and "Manosteel". I would love any suggestions on how to get something to pass. I'll try contacting the Seahawks for some sort of permission but I'm not optimistic.

Drzues...'fan art' generally makes 'logo based' works OK, but as with all IP when requested by the IP holder we're obliged to remove the 'fan art' in question.

As you see by the wealth of it on the Net most IP owners either don't mind or don't care either way.... but now and then some will...and do...;)
