The Star Trek Versus Star Wars mod for GC2 has been around a while now but has seemed to get lost. I've heard of ones having a hard time finding it, so just for everyones info. You can download it at Rapidshare

It’s been a long time since I have been into modding this game. I did contribute to the Star Trek vs Star Wars mod and I’m glad that people can still enjoy it although it was never finished. There were a lot of things I was going to add and change to it but never got around to it. My life is pretty busy these days with really not very much time to mod.
I respect and appreciate the work Gaunathor has done. He knows his stuff and he is a good resource to use to further this mod if anyone wants to. And also to Robert Crabtree, I can tell that you have a lot of knowledge about the Star Trek universe and I really like your ideas. I want to support you with your Star Trek mod and am looking forward to playing it. You also can use any part of this mod into your own mod if you want to. I have been thinking about tinkering around with this mod too, so maybe it’s due for an update?............ I will have to see how much free time I have.
Since this mod crashes easily, I was thinking about using some things from it and combining it with Gaunauthor's Autumn Twilight mod.
It seems that this mod is too heavily loaded with ship models, so I would like to decrease the number of hulls to the minimum (there are 421 MB in models folder of this mod). The problem is that I have no way of knowing which files of the total 2040 are used for which ship templates. Can anyone help with this?

Love the Star Wars vs. Star Trek mod for GalCiv2.
Best one I have found though it does have too many ships and causes my computer to crash on Immense maps.
The one thing I have found with this mod is that Tech Research seems much faster.
Yes, even when I select the Tech Rate of "VERY SLOW".
Is there a way I can edit this mod to slow down the tech research for all races?

PS: I manually edited the MOD and cost of tech research to increase them all 50%.
Now I play on Slow or Normal and love this game. It is worth the struggle to get this MOD working.
PS: Yes this MOD works with Ultimate Edition - that is what I play it with.
Had a couple of replies to my post asking for the STvsSW mod for GalCiv2.
This MOD was not my creation. A group of far more talented people than I created it.
