W B shutdown button text fix & when will WB update come ?

I don´t want to upload more Blinds with it there

-About the Start 8 shutdown button text. Can anyone please give a relevant update on this issue ?

Will there be a fix to take the text away in the near future. :maybe: :sun:

Not using W8, Andy, but I'd like to understand. What script are you referring to? What does it say?

It's the "Shutdown" text on the logoff buttons Doc. In SKS you can set it to not show by adjusting the text margins.  It goes away in Windows 7, but not in Windows 8. Quite annoying to a skin designer.

Really sounds as if sks 8 has a way to go, glad I am old school. Same with wb8.

I think it has to be sorted through Start 8, not Sks or Windowblinds  :\

I know Neil is the one sorting these things out, however I think it´s good to have this thread for people to comment, have oppinions and also for Neil to have his say in this matter.

As it is a vital part of the Startmenue design it should be addressed. :sun:

Eventually (hopefully) someone has to adress this issue as you can´t skin a startmenu accurately on Windows 8 otherwise.

-I´m only annoying you & pushing this because it is such a vital part of the overall look & it is being persistantly ignored.

so -BUMP.

-Give skinners some peace of mind on this with some acknowledgement of the problem.

Is this matter being (or will be) taken care of ??

Don't know what skins you don't see it with Jim. However I made one you can't see it as I made the buttons and matched the text color to the buttons. Can't always do that however.

NO. Not really many buttons can be done that way. I was just suggestion to Jim that maybe that is what he came across. Really the skin I was refering to I haven't even uploaded yet so nobody has it to see. 

A fix is what is needed or at least a reply that tells us it will be fixed or it won't. This has been mentioned before several times and never an answer.
