Looking for players interested in Sacrifice of Angels 2 in MP

Hi,

anyone interested in playing Soa2 Mod MP? I`d really love to play with other players, AI gets kinda dull after a while. This MOD rocks and if u don`t know it have a look at it right now its worth the effort. I was thinking about epic Federation + Klingon + Romulans vs. the Borg kinda scenarios. How cool would that be. I haven`t found anyone else yet and the only post i found was way too old. So if ur interested contact me asap. Cheers

First thing: In SoA2, the Borg are OP.  You wouldn't find a way to get them in an evenly matched game.

Second: Most people don't play mods online, because it's too annoying to have to deal with mod checksums and stuff.

I am interested.  Well more than interested.  But I have only ever been able to beat the Borg late game with the use of the pause key.  Does pause work in multiplayer?  

 

Even if it doesn't I am ready to do this.  I have always wanted to play epic games with other people.  

 

The SOA2 team was going to get another version up today.  I hope they do then we could use that.  How are you for tonight or this weekend?  Can you host game?

 

I live in Pittsburgh so EST.

 

I am taking my family to lunch today (took off so I could have a 4 day weekend).  I will check this thread when I get back.  It's 12:43 now I will be back after 4 pm I think.

 

Oh, and ImperatorPavel it is nice to make your acqaintance.  May this be the beginning of many beautiful Borg bashings.

New version for Rebellion is being uploaded now, may take a while to be authorized. Fastest upload rate should be the host, google Check my Speed

The new version is up and ready to download. Thank you SOA2 team.

 

Delete your old SOA2 folder (I know it's sad) you need a clean install.  Download the new version from moddb.

I am thinking we could create an informal club and call it SOA2 Club.  If we get enough players we can split games into Noob, Medium and High.  If we don't get enough people then we will do whatever.  I don't want to play anything serious.  I just want to meet some people and share the joy that is SOA2.  

And of course: the first rule of SOA2 Club is to TALK about it so other people join us.   O:)

I'd gladly play a game of SoA2.  It's a fun mod (most mods are), and I should probably get away from Star Trek Online for a while (I've been trying to).

Now, all I need is a Borg Unimatrix 0047 with a Borg Spinal Lance, and I can dominate the universe.

Although an Elite STF (STO term) might be more explosion-y, it's nice to play strategy once in a while, especially in the Star Trek Universe.  I would be glad to play SoA2, my timezone is US Central Time.
