Using Mods

I've been trying to get Galactic Civilizations to use mods, but I can't get it to work. I have looked around the forms and the solutions that I found don't work. I thought I was close at with https://forums.galciv2.com/444939 but no cigar. I was wondering if anyone could help me. Also the file directory is     C:\Program Files (x86)\Stardock Games\Galactic Civilizations II - Ultimate Edition\Mods

(Edit) It’s not that I can’t see the mods, it’s that there isn't anything to click on not even the default.

Open up Prefs.ini in your saved game folder (it should be in \UserFolder\My Documents\My Games\GC2TwilightArnor or similar and you can open it with Notepad) and scroll down to where it says ModsDir.

You can copy the file location for the mod you want to use and enter it beside ModsDir to manually set the right folder.
