Tried to balance the texture - to make them look more realistic and still fit the mood of the game ...As for the monsters, heroes, items and so got tones exclusively on sharpness ...

list and description of the modification

Texture pack 2v0 for LH
Mod improves the quality of nearly all the textures in the game!
1 Improved markers hexes
2 Improved and in many cases replaced terrain textures
3 Improved texture heroes, characters and monsters
4 Improved texture weapons, clothes and armor
5 Improved texture trees and bushes
6 Improved texture of some special effects
7 Improved texture of some objects and buildings
8.Improved texture defensive mode
!!!The modification [texture] in the [terrain] I added an optional extra texture.
[fallen_ground_roughOPTIONAL] and [light_grass_roughOPTIONAL] to activate them simply pass part of the string [OPTIONAL] Please note that this operation will change my default texture applied to the selected area ...!!!
This makes the game takes on a new "flavor"
Climate who introduced my amendment is to make the game world seem more murky. Textures have been more suited to the type of terrain (now are more realistic) I used a large part of the textures terrain he had prepared before the games [SKYRIM] and [Heroes VI]

Improve sounds weapons and monsters 2v0 for LH
1 change one music for battles
2 change a few sounds for the four monsters
3 change tens of sounds for different types of weapons

Better ANIMATIONS and autuDef 2v0 for LH
The modification improves the quality of the animation, the characters and all the monsters. In addition has been added to [automatic defense] for our army which currently can take advantage of it, when you press the [pass]. The modification also slightly raises the amount of [gildars] at the beginning of the game and gives you possibility wear since the start of the game five artifacts ... (was nominally 4). You probably need to start a new game to the mod to function properly ...

Icons & cursors & markers 2v1 For LH  (2 options)                                                                                                                                                  Better suited Icons - Cursors - markers ... (see screenshots - at the end of the gallery in nexus site)

paste a whole to the [Legendary Heroes] in my documents

 I am sorry to pollute this fine thread with a dumb question, but I don't see where I can start another one of my own.

I own a copy of LH on my pc at home. I would like to purchase a separate copy and downloaded on another machine at a different location. Will I have to establish a separate account? Or will I be ok?

(I haven't played in almost a month and am away from home)

I think your post should go here (you can ask the mods to move it there, if possible).

 

If I understand your question, that is, you want to play LH on both your home PC and another one, you should not have to buy another copy/license for LH. What you would need to do is download Steam on your other PC and then you can install LH on the other PC. If you allow cloud saves, you should be able to continue your game from one PC to the next. Take all security precautions if you are not the sole user of the other PC.

Any screenshots or anything?  "Improved" is subjective, improvement is in the eye of the beholder, it would be nice to see these in action.  Why the modifications to the game mechanics though in a mod that sounds like it should only modify appearance/experience (sound): "MEGA pack textures, animations and sounds for LH"

 

mechanics changes:

-Increased amount of gold at the start of the game to 125 gildars of 50

-Increased amount of the population at the start of the game to 40 of 30

-Changed year Start playing 100 of 165

-From now on, the hero can wear 5 of accessories - not only 4

That said, I agree w/smeagolheart above; I'd be much more likely to give this a try if it was restricted to visual changes.

I think it's not a problem just copy the image files or omitting all the files [xml] :)
But really honestly recommend to leave the file (ElementalDefs.. Xml) improves significantly animations - a change which also introduces a not too significant in the course of the game and only the beginning :)

This almost sounds like a total conversion mod... of sorts.  Which is fine, but I'm unsure of a few things.

 

Some of your descriptions are very vague and unclear, like the changes to animation.  I've tried this out and still can't tell what was changed here.  What exactly have you done to improve the animations?  Was your goal here to make them look less abrupt and robotic?  If so, I may keep this part of your mod.

 

While some textures appear much more high-res than the default (especially with buildings and other small structures), my game ran quite smoothly with this installed.  Some textures were too loud/sharp for my taste, while I think many of these textures look wonderful.  But I'd only recommend it for those who want a more realistic, *SHARP* look to the game.  It's certainly more detailed, but it may be too much for some people who prefer a more subtle, softer look.  Either way, I'll continue to check on this ambitious mod!

When it comes to animation - Main change is the amount of frames per sec (smoothness and speed of animation) now and you will notice our characters on the global map and tactical move along more realistic - but as the description would probably make it work you need to start a new game ... What to sharpness texture, if someone thinks they are too sharp - please note the regulation in the game, there is a contrast control available :) And it gets the job done :) As for sounds, it started from the sound (bash) [impact shield] - hmm was very weak - now the game uses sound which prepared to the game SKYRIM :) And then I thought about (skeletons) by (sounds of bows), etc :)

I did start a new game but still couldn't tell the difference.  To say the animations 'move along more realistic' is still unclear IMO.  Are you saying you extended frames of the animations to look slower?  I just want to know what to look for.

Movement speed of all the characters and monsters has been reduced .. [is as if you turned on the tactical map (x0.5 speed rather than x1) so that it works also on the global map)

I appreciate the effort, but the new textures do not really cut it for me. There is too much going on and I have a lot of trouble making out certain elements like trees and resources amongst all the aggressive coloring.

accordance with the suggestion user forum, some textures have been improved-differences in saturation and sharpness will see mostly in przymadku texture of lava terrain. Cracks were less saturated color ... (update 1v3)
