More DLC´s on the way?...or not

More DLC´s on the way?...or not

So Forbidden Worlds have been on sale for almost 2 months, additionally there has been another Steam Sale (which i am sure few more people used to buy Rebellion), so how does it sell? Good enough to give us another DLC? Or is it still too early to tell? Or the decision, whether there will be one or not, is completely independent of DLC sales?

It aseems Ironclad went under with Sins of a dark age,
support doesnt reply, updates and forum activity is scarce,
most interesting commander mode was scrapped,
partner that was charging supporters went away...
I surely hope they'll return home to Sins2...ASAP.

Hmm, we most definitely have not gone under. We've been very busy with Sins of a Solar Empire material and Sins of a Dark Age material so our personal online presence is minimal as we are primarily developers. Soada is doing fine. Its a closed beta so the public area isn't very busy and most of our conversations are in private channels. Commander mode (along with many other aspects) was changed over a year ago. People always get scared by this sort of thing but its standard fare for us. If you were involved in the early development of Sins of a Solar Empire, or even early public beta you would have seen similar levels of changes. Its a necessary part of iterative development and the success of a game. That fact that you are still talking here in the Sins of a Solar Empire forums almost 6 years after its release is a testament to the virtues of our approach. The only difference in Soada's case is people are paying attention to us now, no one was paying attention to us when we gutted or drastically revamped major features of Sins of a Solar Empire. Finally, our partner did not "go away". There was a mutually agreed to separation so we could both further our goals. Soada has some upcoming major and exciting news coming.

No comments on Sins 2 ;)

Cheers,

Blair
