Can You Give AI more Colony Ships?

You could just sell them some of your own. Or you could increase the difficulty. That should allow the AI to rush-buy more colony ships early on.

However, if you really want to cheat, you could use CTRL+SHIFT+Z to take control of one the AIs, find one of its colony ships, and use CTRL+C to make several copies of it.

Nope doesn't work.  Do I have install something first? Tried Ctrl Shift Z with their home planet and their ships and nothing happens.  

You have to activate the cheat keys first. Make a link to the GC2TwilightOfTheArnor.exe, open the details, and add the word "cheat" (without the quotation-marks) to the end of the target line.

Ctrl L makes a fun game on immense maps.

Why don't U just change their Ai to Krynn Generic Torian or Terran so the Ai will make more ships. Or U could just mod to make things different U could change the Korath giving him a Generic Ai maxed out morale economy and the rest in population growth also if U customise opponents they will expand better though the Ai don't know how to play the Yor If u can't sell the Ai ships just give it to them if u r talking about the minor races u can change that in the editor

The Torian (and Iconian) AI is considered to be broken. It knows how to expand, but most of it's worlds will stay empty, because it doesn't build anything on them, except for a Starport. In effect, the Torians and Iconians are strong at the beginning, but the longer the game lasts, the weaker they get.


Bad idea, if you want the Korath to keep using their Spore ships. The Korath AI is the only one using them. Also, the Korath AI (same as the Drengin and Yor) is pretty good at using morale improvements. You would loose that too, if you change them.


While not perfect, the AI does know how to play the Yor in my games.
