Shouldn't the Vorastra have Research Labs?

So I was playing Vasari Loyalists today and I noticed that the research to give labs on Capital Ships doesn't add labs to the Titan and was wondering why. If the Capital Ships can have a warfare and empire lab each it makes me think that the Titan should too. I really don't see why the Vorastra wouldn't get the lab bonus. Thoughts?

The Titan can be made into the empire's capitol. Hence there is no room for labs.

Oh the Vasari tried to add research labs to the Vorastra. Their engineers had it all worked out, and the prototype even had them as features. However, the instant it was completed an army of space ponies flew by and destroyed it, saying that if the Vorastra was any more awesome it would be a rival to them.

 

The Vasari thus quietly dropped the research labs from the final design. ;)

I assumed it was due to balance but wasn't sure. I'm glad the it's written into the lore  ;P

Coming from me, it might sound odd to buff Vasari... but personally I always found it odd.

 

Granting the Vorastra 1 Civil, 1 Military Lab and 4 tax income wont break balancing imho.

 

Assuming of course, the currently inbalanced things of Vasari are fixed. ;)
