Double Start Buttons (Solved!)

OK, guys, here's one for ya. Several skins tested. Naturally, I can't test them all.

 

I load a WB, any WB, all is well. I reboot, and come back to double start buttons. I get the skins button, and the default orb. And only on the primary monitor.

 

I reinstalled WindowBlinds to no avail. DisplayFusion installed, but disabled.

 

WindowBlinds 7.98

Windows 7 64 bit

 

P.S. Before I'm asked, I can't run the latest version of WB8 due to transparent taskbars with DisplayFusion.

OK, tried WB 8, latest version, no help. Lost secondary taskbars.

 

Reverted to WB 8 (7.98) and problem still exists.

 

Reverted back to last full version of DisplayFusion to no avail. Didn't expect anything there since it's only affecting the primary taskbar.

 

This just started over the past week, I'm stumped.

 

Ticket time, I guess.

I just last week lost all my icons on my taskbar, pages rerouted... evil.    I used Kapersky Virus Removal Tool, Hitman Pro 3, cleaned, cleared everything and all the rest....  boy it's gone.

System restore or explorer.exe virus... apparently.

I think I have solved this mystery.        Hyperdesk.    :typo:

 

Uninstalled it. Seems to have worked.     :)

Wiz, kiss it...lol.    ;P   Not on the left, not on the right...but right down the middle... :P

 

Zubaz, I think a very few people still use Hyperdesk, but maybe it isn't a great idea on a rig with WindowBlinds installed. WindowBlinds is my first love, even more than

 DX..  8(| .

 

But I have a few Hypers I bought way back, thought I'd try them.

They work well on a VM where I don't use WB. But I have lurnt muh lesson.

 

I have converted a few into WB skins. I can just use them via WB.

i get this happening all the time. after a reboot, double start buttons, been happening for ages. I just re apply the theme and it's fixed. Annoying yes, but no big deal. nice if it was fixed though :)

 

Edit: I don't have hyperdesk installed or display fusion. never have. only WB8, Icon packager and Winstep Nexus. And the double start button problem was happening before i installed Nexus.
