Cannot seem to get this to work at all

I installed ModernMix on Win8 Pro.  The only thing that works is that it creates desktop icons

 

The right corner menu, or f10 do not work, and all apps come up full screen, with no way to change them.  The do launch from desktop, to fullscreen apps

 

I tried changing the F10 to ctrl-f10, to see if it was a keyboard conflict.

 

I am trying this on an RDP session to the win8 box.  I have not tried it at the screen directly, so maybe it is an RDP artifact.  I'll post after I test it at home directly

We are working on an update for MM for the 8.1 preview.

I did some more testing.

It looks like when you remotely access a machine using RDP, all ModernMix features seem disabled except create shortcuts on desktop.

Desktop windowed items and the right corner menus do not appear.

The file dialogs were left as fullscreen because they are so space inefficient that making them windowed did not seem to be a good idea.  Plus they are only open for brief periods of time.
