Minidumps are back in full force....with new and improved Runtime errors!

I have gotten multiple runtime errors since v1.52 release...latest one is entirely new for me with a "R6025 - pure virtual function call"...everyone in the 5s (8 still left, 2 MDed before then) crashed...

ICO has been worse...but this is still pretty bad....

I am bumping this...well over half of games have people getting runtime errors...sometimes individual people crash, sometimes whole game...

ICO lobby also is at a low...lots of lobby crashes and people DCing out of lobby for no reason....

I have also experienced an increased number of lobby crashes and DCs since patch... seems to be a daily occurrence now.

I have people on my friend list who crash within 30 minutes every game since 1.52. Its affecting everyone differently but can we have 1.50 stability when MDs were a thing of the past. Please fix it as it really is ruining Mp experience at the moment. I can get more ppl to post here if further proof is required.

Sad thing is that since they are almost always runtime errors, there are no dump files to send in....

FYI, these runtime errors are not a big game only type of deal....got them in 3s and 2s, last runtime error was in a 3s that had only 2 players left...

It is to the point where a lot of people are just going to stop playing....when most games are decided by player drops (like they are now), what is the point in playing?

Good time to take a break from sins for a few days / weeks until they fix or even acknowledge the problem. FYI, i have played a total of *0* multiplayer games where nooone dropped since 1.52.

I think I might have had one, some oddball 2v2v2 or something....

Funny thing for me is that I only seem to get runtime errors while winning, go figure....but that may be because the other times someone else dropped....

Using this program on the sins executable seems to fix the problem for me. Large long running 5v5s still get butt slow late in the game but I haven't MD'ed out of one yet with this on. Just make sure you have at least 3gb of ram on your machine. You will also have to reapply it everytime there is a patch.

The LAA is not for everyone wyiplash. It may work for you but it can cause damage to other computers or simply do nothing. The debate on LAA has been long and nasty on this forum.

It might be useful for the developers to have autosaves before the crash.

Had one last night during a long 5s game... which sucked cuz I had a nice ECO game going.

This is completely ridiculous... of the past 15 game I have played in multiplayer, all 15 of them have ended with me or someone else minidumping. Game length does not matter that much, although it seems I MD more often in the first 30 minutes of a game (might be because few games last beyond that).

I don't think I will play any more matches until Ironclad fixes this problem. It is completely ruining the multiplayer experience by throwing away a 1-2 hour game.

I feel no remorse for having deleted rebellion.

Be lucky there is no tabletop version.  Stardock would have to spend DLC earnings to fly out and kick over the table, dump soda all over the cards and impregnate the cat.

Good Bye.

And good riddance.
