Sins and Windows 8.1 Preview

Has anyone had any luck running Sins under the new Windows 8.1 preview? It seems to load fine, but the display is incredibly jittery with frequent momentary pauses. I haven't yet tried reverting to 8.0, but will try that soon.

Why bother with Windows 8 to begin with?

It came with my computer and I didn't bother to downgrade. It's just like Windows 7 if you turn off Metro.

I found a temporary fix - enabling the system cursor instead of the default game cursor makes the jitteryness go away.

LOL, no, it isn't.  The kernel was completely rebuilt on this build.  It still has performance and compliancy issues.

Did a video driver update get installed at the same time?

Not that I saw, the latest AMD release drivers are from May. I downloaded their beta drivers and have not tried them yet.
