What happened to Global Warming?
When I put my first above ground pool in around the late 90's we were able to open it in April and start swimming in May.
Now my pool is just opened and still not warm enough to swim in 
I'd like some global warming back...
But if the Earth is shifting on it's axis, isn't that the most likely cause of any climate change that might be occurring beyond the normal cycle of climate change that is known to exist?
Climate change is pigment of my imagination. The other day I thought everything was green. Now I think it's a hazy shady of Winter.

How is global warming reported in the media? Here in Sweden, the daily news reports as if it were a fact. There was one columnist that said it's an extortion attempt on the 3rd world countries but that's all I've ever seen of that viewpoint from the media.
At least it is according to the bullshit artists faking the data.
Do just a little bit of research and it becomes painfully obvious that the surface station data is being manipulated and extrapolated to such a degree as to be worthless. Our only record of worth is satellite data, and we've got a whopping 35 years of it. That's only a little more than half of the ~60 year cycle caused by the Atlantic Multidecadal Oscillation ancient man was capable of noticing before the thermometer was even invented. So far, all it shows is a pattern fitting that 50-70 year oscillation.
The world has been on a long term cooling trend for thousands of years. Fuck me if it wouldn't be a good thing if we could actually warm it up significantly to counteract our gradual slide into the next ice age, but global warming just isn't in the data. The climate sensitivity of CO2 in atmosphere appears to be absolutely dick. We've just gone ape shit over the predictable and obvious warming back up from the mini ice age the world had as a result of the Maunder Minimum.

If nobody ever uttered the words "Global Warming", I'd be able to sleep 'fanless' and use less 'pollutant creating/global warming' electricity..
For mine, it's about time crackpots from the other side of the equation started spouting about glacier growth and ice age theories.

Glacier growth and ice age theories ain't too bad really, we've got a pretty solid record from the ice cores to say they're coming, but it's not a precipitous change. It's many thousands of years from here to glaciers in Kansas. Unfortunately, the food production will be cut in half long before that, so it's not all roses way before then...

That is absolutely true. Look into it. About a year ago the news networks actually announced that they would no longer allow anyone who disagreed with global warming on the air and would no longer publish their opinions. It is absolutely true.
His statement is false because of it's overly specific and all encompassing wording, but a more general statement on that topic would have worked quite well, Reddit openly banned skeptic comments from their science forum, as did the BBC and many other media outlets. The Media Research Center put out a study on the big three last year that claimed it had been over four years since ABC or CBS had a skeptics views in a news report, NBC was still under a year at 293 days at the time. These outfits routinely report on the most outlandish of claims from proponents, like the ones that stated the Himalayan Glaciers and the Arctic ice cap would be gone by now.

Edit: You're gonna have to show proof to get that one supported, I remember no such edict and find the likelihood of them jointly doing such a thing to be extremely spare.

I'm scared shitless that his toupee will get blown off during an outdoor live interview, with the 'chrome dome' underneath shooting out blistering reflections from the sun [like death rays] and cooking all in their path. Global warming would no longer be an unsubstantiated theory with lots of guess work and fudged results. No, it would become a frightening reality.

You mean like how sea level was supposed to rise ten feet by 2000, the Arctic was going to be ice free by 2013, and there would be 50 million climate refugees by 2010 from all the new deserts that haven't appeared? Or maybe that the Himalayas would be ice free by 2035? A lead author for the IPCC predicted that the US would be a dust bowl by now, with refugees fleeing the country to get out of the continent wide dust storm I can't seem to find. I've been looking, honest, but I just can't seem to find it through all this fucking rain!
Noted scientists, including members of the IPCC panel, and contributors who's work has been used to erroneously support their findings, would be among the people who count as skeptics. Can you seriously claim it's a good thing not to have contrarian viewpoints when the group think has given us so much absurdly wrong bullshit that the above paragraph barely scratches the surface of it? You're supposed to have starved, died of thirst, drowned, and froze to death by now, nothing they've predicted has ever come true.
