Summoned Champion not able to equip gear

Well I got my summons for my general to work but now when I summon him and unequip his gear, he isn't able to re-equip anything except the star forged gauntlets. The warhorse he has he can't equip. He can't equip gear I summoned him with that has no level requirements. And when I go to try to get him gear such as a basic staff from the shop, he can't equip those either. Anyone got any ideas?

Don't know if you caught it but there is an error in your unit file. The backstory doesn't end with </BackStory> like it should. You also have a level milestone floating around in your xml that is not correct. I think this problem may be due to xml errors.

Nevermind. Don't know exactly what I did wrong, but I fixed it. Meh.
