Install Problems PLEASE HELP

I really need help, or some place to download.

OK, so I've had the original version of Sins since the month it was released, and recently got a new laptop. My old one had Vista installed and ran it fine, but this one has Windows 7 and for some reason the game will not install. It will get stuck on installin "eula.txt" for hours. The disc doesn't spin freely, as well, it would appear. I have a picture of my disc and case, to prove that I do have it. Has anyone else had this problem, or know how to download it from somewhere (preferably legally, but not necessarily)? I really wanna play my game, but also don't want to pay Steam $20 to buy it again!

Did you ever register you game with Impulse? If so, you should be able to download it digitally for free from them (now Gamestop), with all the updates your disk version is missing.   ;)

Your disc may be bad--try just copying all the install files to your hard drive first, then running the install from there.

Barring that, if you registered the CD key with us back when you got it, you should have an account (the same as then) with GameStop (they bought Impulse a couple of years ago, which was our digital distribution platform) to be able to download the game in entirety.

If you can't locate your account there, the game doesn't show up on it, or never registered the game, please contact [email protected] and they should be able to help if you do have the CD key.

No, unfortunately I did not register it (my old computer had some weird problems) but I will try copying to my hard drive. Thank you for the help!

Thank you! That worked great! It's now 60% installed, compared to the 10% I could get before!
