how do i move the map angle?

im playing and when i view the map its diagonal. when i hit the middle mouse button i can move the map angle around how i like but it goes back as soon as i let it go. how do i rotate the map where i like is so that the cloth map appears right side up instead of slanted?

Turn off "Snap back when rotating" in Advanced Options, and/or try the number keys 1 through 5.
