Adding Factions to Rebellion

So I've attempted to add a faction to Rebellion and the Dev exe launches with no error messages popping, the player icon is there in the player setup screen, however, when I try to select my new faction I simply cycle through the TEC, Advent, and Vasari.

My faction is playable through random but I should be able to get it so I can select my faction, I just don't know where to look. Currently I've created my own Faction entity, editted the galaxyscenariodef, added units, changed the entity accordingly so I don't know where else to look.

Any assistance would be greatly appreciated, as mentioned above, I can play as the faction through random selection without error and the dev exe doesn't say anything's wrong.

PS - I did a search for this because I though I saw it somewhere, however, my search was fruitless. If there is a thread that answers my questions, by all means, direct me there and call me blind.

The quick way to fix your problem is to open the PlayerSetup.window file and change the last line, useRaceSelectDialog, to false. This will get rid of that fancy race select screen and just lets you cycle through playable races as it was before Rebellion.

I'm sure its been answered somewhere in the modders get an answer thread and a few other places.
